Louis Vuitton S/S '12 Show
Louis Vuitton have announced they will be suing Warner Brothers after their refusal to cut fake Vuitton luggage from the film 'The Hangover II'.
The character Alan holds counterfeit pieces in a scene in which he protests "Careful, that is a [incorrectly pronounced] Louis Vuitton." Although Warner Brothers are protesting that an essential part of the joke is that Alan is an unlikely owner of a bag sold by the French luxe brand, the company are insisting that the scene will lead to "customer confusion."
They have requested the withdrawal of all The Hangover II copies from sale and are also asking for a portion of the film's estimated $581 million profits.
